Preschool Registration/Screening 2013-14


The Cushman Preschool Program will be piloting a full-day, multi-age classroom for three and four year old students for the 2013-14 school year.  This program will run Monday through Friday, from 9:05 am to 3:05 pm.  There are limited slots available, and placement will be determined through a lottery.  This program will cost $600 a month.

There will still be an option for your child to attend our four year old half-day program available next year.  This program runs Monday through Friday, from 12:30 to 3:05 pm.  This program will cost $300 per month.

The district has implemented a sliding fee scale for families who seek tuition assistance.  Families who choose to access the sliding fee scale need to verify their income by submitting the required paperwork available through the school.

Preschool registration will be held at Cushman School, located on 746 Dartmouth Street, Dartmouth, MA 02748.  Registration packets for full day applicants must be completed by April 12th.  Screening for our full day program slots will be determined through a lottery.  Appointments will be given when registration packets are complete.  Call now for program and registration information:  Mrs. Donna Lamontagne, Cushman School Secretary, at 508-996-3926.  Applicants must be three years old prior to September 1st or four years old prior to September 1st and a Dartmouth resident to be eligible.
Summer Academic Program 2013
The Dartmouth Public Schools is still accepting registrations for the annual Summer Academic Program that will run from July 8 through August 8th, 2013.  Please see the flyer for details.  Flyer    Registration Form 


This program is in partnership with the Dartmouth YMCA Summer Program.  If you are interested in this afternoon half day program, you will need to register with the D YMCA directly.  Dartmouth YMCA Flyer
2013-14 Kindergarten Registration
The Dartmouth Public Schools is still accepting kindergarten registrations.  If you haven't registered your child for our kindergarten program, please contact Mrs. Sousa at the Superintendent's office at 508-997-3391 x1108 to schedule an appointment. 

If you have any questions about kindergarten or if your child is not attending our kindergarten program in the fall, please contact Mrs. Sousa.  Our staff needs are based on student enrollment. 
 
Eligible kindergarten children need to be five years old prior to September 1st and a Dartmouth resident.
